Featured in Mount Pleasant Magazine: The Connection Between Clutter and Calm
One of the things we talk about often at SHIFT into Organized is that organization isn’t really about having a perfectly tidy home.
It’s about creating a space that supports you.
A space that feels calmer when life feels chaotic. A space that functions well enough to make your mornings easier, your evenings more peaceful, and your mind a little quieter.
That’s why it was such an honor to be featured in Mount Pleasant Magazine’s article, “Spring Cleaning: Organizing Your Home to Reduce Anxiety with SHIFT into Organized.”
The truth is, most people don’t call us because they want prettier bins or perfectly folded towels.
They call because they’re overwhelmed.
Because they’re navigating a move, welcoming a baby, caring for aging parents, recovering from a difficult season, or simply feeling the weight of too much stuff and not enough systems.
We’ve seen time and time again that when we create more ease and functionality in a home, something shifts beyond the physical space. There’s often more clarity, more confidence, and more room to focus on what truly matters.
In this article, I share simple ways to reduce both physical and mental clutter, along with practical strategies for creating a home that feels supportive rather than stressful.
If you’ve ever felt like your home was adding to your anxiety instead of easing it, I hope you’ll take a moment to read it.
